Wishlist Wednesday (2)

This is a meme hosted by Dani of Pen to Paper in which you pick one book from your wishlist shelf and explain why you really want to read that one book.

I wish for:

Incarnate - Jodi Meadows Incarnate by Jodi Meadows

Goodreads Synopsis:
New soul

Ana is new. For thousands of years in Range, a million souls have been reincarnated over and over, keeping their memories and experiences from previous lifetimes. When Ana was born, another soul vanished, and no one knows why.

No soul

Even Ana’s own mother thinks she’s a nosoul, an omen of worse things to come, and has kept her away from society. To escape her seclusion and learn whether she’ll be reincarnated, Ana travels to the city of Heart, but its citizens are afraid of what her presence means. When dragons and sylph attack the city, is Ana to blame?

Sam believes Ana’s new soul is good and worthwhile. When he stands up for her, their relationship blooms. But can he love someone who may live only once, and will Ana’s enemies—human and creature alike—let them be together? Ana needs to uncover the mistake that gave her someone else’s life, but will her quest threaten the peace of Heart and destroy the promise of reincarnation for all?

Why I want to read:
First of all: look at that amazing cover. I would so totally buy this for the cover alone. This is the first book of a trilogy and the last book just came in the beginning of this year. I like to have all the books on hand before I start a series so that I can read them back to back if I love them. Now that is the case I can not wait to read this. I am really intrigued by reincarnation and I am eager to find out the mystery behind Ana. This book has so much 4/5 star ratings on goodreads and that I think it is time to really jump on the bandwagon and read it.

Q: Have you read Incarnate? Was it good? (Obviously don’t give away spoilers, haha!)

  1. I read this when it first came out and really enjoyed it. I still need to get 2 & 3 but I totally agree that they are worth having even for the covers alone.

  2. I keep seeing this series around, and it’s so tempting to buy a copy of the first book. The cover is so pretty too. I hope you get to read it soon.

Thank you for your comment! I love to read them :)
